Holy Monday

So, the week of weeks begins.

I smile in reflection as my very first week at the head pastor of a congregation, the term in that time and place was “Vicar”, was a Holy Week. I had no context, as I had never lead a congregation before, when I introduced myself to them on Palm Sunday. It was a heady experience and a lot to carry, but I made it.
