I once picked up some extra cash not through industry, endeavor, or knowledge, but through a combination of ignorance and apathy. It just goes to show, I guess.
In the 1970's, I was the music director of a small radio station and hosted the six-hour midnight jazz show on weekends. It was through the radio station that I wound up with this assignment.
